Information on your Holiday and COVID-19

BUTLINS RESORTS OPENED ON 24th JULY THE CARAVAN PARK OPENED TO GUESTS ON 6th JULY

Although the Caravan Park will be open to guests, due to social distancing restrictions Butlins have made the decision that in order to keep guests and staff safe, numbers on the resort need to be reduced. Therefore, Caravan Park guests will NOT have access to any of the facilities on the Butlins main resort.

In order to comply with this, we have introduded a New type of break “Family Getaways” these breaks will be accommodation only and are at reduced prices.

With the country having been in lockdown since 23rd March there will be a lot of people who will be relieved that finally we can start to get back to normal.

With this in mind we have decided to offer Family Getaways,  now tourist attractions & holiday park can reopen, we will all soon be able to get away from home as long as some social distancing is still in place.

Butlins  Caravan parks planned opening is 6th July and we will be welcoming guests back from this time – However the Butlins Resort & its facilites will NOT be open to Caravan guests, therefore our Family Getaways will be on an accommodation only basis, there will be no access to the Butlins main resort. Our Caravans are fully equipped for a self-catering stay, parking is outside or very close by so you will able to safely social distance. So, you can get away and enjoy a change of scenery, enjoy time together with the family, and take long walks on the beach and enjoy the lovely contryside and tourist attractions in and around the area.

The cost for these breaks will be greatly reduced.

In the event that the Caravan Park must close after 6th July due to the virus -

We will offer a full refund or a change of holiday date whichever you prefer – this will be offered on a break by break basis with no ammendment fee charged

Any change of holiday date will be subject to the dates you want being available, should you chosen date be a lesser value than the original booked date we will refund the different / amend the price, should you chosen date be a higher value then you will be responsible for paying the shortfall.

*Full refunds can take up to 28 days to process and will be minus associated bank charges.

As stated in our terms and conditions we would like to remind guests to purchase your own Holiday Insurance as there is no Insurance included in the price.

 

Whilst the Park remains open –

If you have an outstanding balance - We would ask that guests pay the remaining balance of their Holiday on the due date, if you have any problems in making the payment we can in most circumstances give you 2 weeks longer to pay. Holidays with overdue balances will unfortunately be cancelled and you will forfeit the deposit - this can however be transfered to another date in 2020

Should you decide that you no longer wish to go on holiday and cancel your booking, then our normal cancellation policy will apply. (Please see our terms and conditions)

If you wish to change the date of your holiday then the following options are available – 

You may change the date of your holiday to any avaialble date in 2020 for no amendment fee, if you prefer you can choose a date in 2021 for a small amendment fee of £10

Any change of holiday date will be subject to the dates you want being available, should you chosen date be a lesser value than the original booked date we will refund the different / amend the price, should you chosen date be a higher value then you will be responsible for paying the shortfall.

Should you decide to cancel your holiday and forfeit your deposit, then later in the season decide that you wish to reinstate your holiday or book a different date (in 2020 only) we will reinstate your original deposit, (This will only apply to this period of uncertainty over the Coronavirus)
